Sometimes there is nowhere to look in times of trouble except to look up – to the Lord.  You can’t look inside for help or around you but up to the Lord.

Notice the phrase “Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses” occurs four times in this chapter.
